Wildlife encounters don’t get much more bizarre than this.
Mrs Sally Arnold of Cumbria returned home to find this owl imprint on her window. Apparently the residue is from the bird’s ‘powder down’, a substance which protects growing feathers.
It obviously works, because there was no sign of the owl……so we can only assume it is healthy & well, and only has a mild headache as a result of its collision.

The Theory of Nothing*
It is a proven fact that when you have nothing to do then nothing comes up and you are doomed to boredom. As soon as you plan something then something else even better will come along shortly after you’ve cemented your plans with the initial something, leaving you disappointed.
Most recently, a subject committed to teaching a 3-day workshop on Aug. 4-6. This occurred when there was nothing on the calendar. Today, this subject learned of this event happening relatively near her home, during the same time-frame, thus proving the theory once again.
*This theory has been tested in the AHA Institute of Relevant Things.

I posted a bunch of Deftones photos and all that loaded was a pic of the opening band Baroness. Meh, I say, Meh! Needless to say, the show was amazing. Chino looks hot once again and they had the same energy they did when I first started listening in ‘97.
